Hi, I’m Gary!
Hi, my name is Gary and I am proudly a Support Worker at Kick Off Tutoring and Support Services.
A Little Bit About Me;
I am 56 years old, a qualified mechanical engineer and support worker specialising in skills building and personal supports.
-What is Your Role at KickOff?
My role is support worker. I undertake the personal, social and skills building care of my clients. I liaise with clients and colleagues, informal supports and businesses to empower my clients to achieve their goals.
I primarily work in the Kyogle and Casino areas.
-What Do You Love Most About Working at KickOff?
The best part would be developing learning experiences in conjunction with my clients and feeling a sense of accomplishment helping people on their chosen journey.
-What is Your Favourite Quote?
Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life!
-What Are Your Top 3 Values That Drive You Both Personally and Professionally?
Attention to detail, giving a hand up not a hand out, empowering others to make their own choices.
-What Do You Enjoy Doing When You Are Not Working?
I am a passionate sportsman. Although I no longer engage in contact sports, I love Rugby League, Horse Racing and Cricket. I spend time with my family and friends but enjoy the tranquillity of reading the paper on a Sunday morning.
-Who Inspires You?
My inspiration comes from the Elders who came before me, my family that spread good works throughout lands and people with a genuine heart.
